Nous étions supposé avoir un vent de l'ouest (bon) et pas de pluie avant 13:00h. Nous sommes parti vers 7:15h et 5 minutes plus tard, le pavé était tout trempé, et resta trempé pour 40 km. La pluie était en avant de nous, mais nous l'avons rattrapée après 10 km. C'était seulement des gouttes la plupart du temps, mais assez fort pour 10 km. Avec la pluie, nous avons eu un vent de dos, mais après 40 km et le retour du soleil nous avons eu un léger vent de face.
À 40 km nous avons pris notre premier arrêt. Charles mentionne à Marthe qu'elle peut aller derrière une grosse roche comme toilette. Elle s'en vient en courant et dit: 'Je peux attendre. Il y a un serpent!'
À 55 km nous avons atteint la frontière de Saskatchewan. Nous sommes rendu à notre 3e province. Le terrain plat n'a pas été aussi plat aujourd'hui puisque nous étions dans la région de Cypress Hills. Nous avons atteint Eagle Valley Park Campground, près de Maple Creek, vers 13:30h. Il y avait de la pluie tout autour de nous, mais nous avons été chanceux cette fois-ci. Il n'a commencé à mouillé que lorsque nous étions au restaurant du camping. Il y a même eu deux averses de tonnerre et il a fallu attendre pour avoir l'internet de nouveau.
Nous avons fait une partie de la route avec notre ami de l'Ontario, Kevin, et nous partageons un site de camping avec lui. Nous avons aussi rencontré une cycliste originaire de France.
Nous avons fait 1059 km en Colombie-Britannique et 396 km en Alberta.

We were supposed to get west wind (good) and no rain before 1h PM. We had just left at 7:15h and 5 minutes later, the pave was all wetland stayed wet for about 40 km. The rain was in front of us, but we caught up with it after 10 km. It was mostly drizzle but stronger for a while (10 km). With the rain we got some tail wind, but after 40 km and the return of the sun, we got light head wind.
At that 40 km we took our first break. Charles told Marthe to go behind a rock to pee. She came running back saying: 'I can wait!. There is a snake!'
At 55 km we reached the Saskatchewan border. We are now in our third province. The flat land wasn't so flat anymore today since we are in the Cypress Hills region. We reached Eagle Valley Park Campground, near Maple Creek, around 13:30h. We could see rain all around us, but we got lucky this time and stayed dry. Later while we were having supper at the restaurant of the campground, the rain started. There was even two thunderstorm and we had to wait to get the internet running again.
We did part of the route with our friend from Ontario, Kevin, and we are sharing a tent site with him. We also met a lady cyclist, originally from France.
So far we did 1059 km in B.C. and 396 km in Alberta.
