Today we relaxed all day. We got up late, around 7h, and worked on our maps for the next few days and completed yesterday's blog, until 9:30h. Then we were busy with the pool and spa until noon. We had planned to walk the 5 km return trip to the DIX-30 center, for lunch, but it was so warm that we stopped at the corner store for the few items needed for the next bike day and returned to the house. Daniel's fridge was full of food and we had a great lunch. Then the afternoon was spent with a super big nap, until 4h PM.
Daniel and Catherine returned home from work earlier than usual. The thunderstorm showers started soon after their arrival. We then went to visit Genevieve, their neighbour and owner of the dog Jessy, that we had met the previous day. She had invited us for appetizers. There was also another couple present, and we all had great conversations and a good time.
When we returned to Daniel's, he burned the sausages on the BBQ, because he was busy printing maps and directions for our next few bike days. This will still be a very good meal, with an alternative plan, followed by a good night of sleep. We will be ready to leave tomorrow, if the weather is great.
