Today again we had a breakfast included with the hotel, starting at 6h AM. We were then ready to leave at 6:30h, with a tail wind, that stayed with us about 75% of the time. After 75 km we were on the East side of Regina and stopped at Dennys restaurant for breakfast. This was an excellent breakfast. We were sitting next to a table with many people a little older than us. They noticed us getting in due to our bright colors. They also noticed the Acadian flag on Charles' Maya trailer. This started a conversation between the two tables. They were very captivated by our travel adventure. One of them, Don came to sit with us and gave us good advice for the route to take in the next few days. Then he told us that he would be taking care of our breakfast tab. Thank you Don.
When we finished our meal we realized that we had just lost our tail wind and there is a long ascent to make it to Indian Head. We were glad that this changed again to tail wind after another 30 km. This last 70 km took longer to ride and we also had a temperature climbing to 34C. Hopefully the wind was keeping us a bit cool. In Indian Head they have two small hotels, but we could not get a room, so we are camping and the weather is great. This is a super nice campground. We decided to spoil ourselves with a nice supper at the chinese restaurant in town. Today, Farha is not with us since she stayed later to her contact in Moose Jaw before leaving for Regina. We will probably meet her again in a few days, since we are planning to do a few short days.
