Day 24 - June 22 - Chaplin to Moose Jaw - 85 km (T=1803 km)

Nous nous sommes levés seulement à 6h ce matin, parce que la station d'essence, près du camping, avec une salle de bain, ouvrait à 7h. Nous avons tout ramassé et y sommes arrivé à 6:45h. Nous étions content de voir l'employée arriver 15 minutes tôt et nous laisser entrer. On a mangé des snacks et attendu de rouler 41 km pour trouver un restaurant pour déjeuner. A quelques km de là, Kevin a eu une crevaison à son tour. Une fois réparé, nous avons eu un excellent déjeuner.

De là il ne nous restait que 45 km avant d'arriver à Moose Jaw. Cette fois-ci on allait trouver un hôtel et restaurant  et épicerie. Après une bonne douche, nous avons marché jusqu'au magasin de vélos où nous avons acheté des tubes d'extra et un autre kit pour réparer les pneus. Nous avons terminé la journée avec un bon repas au restaurant.

Farha n'était pas beaucoup visible sur le bord du chemin avec son chandail bleu. On lui a trouvé une veste jaune. À un arrêt sur le bord du chemin, Charles fait le commentaire qu'elle a joint le club des bananes jaunes, mais Marthe lui fait remarquer qu'il porte son manteau orange, alors il doit être l'orange du groupe!

Au déjeuner Farha a commandé un milk shake. Ceci lui a donné des ailes...on veut tous boire du milk shake demain!!

Main street - Moose Jaw

We only got up at 6h AM this morning because the gas station with a washroom, next to the campground was only opening at 7h. We packed everything and were at the gas station by 6:45h and we were glad to see the employee arrived 15 minutes early. We bought some snacks and took off because we knew there was a restaurant 41 km away. Around 5 km before our breakfast destination, Kevin took his turn and had a flat tire. Once fixed, we headed for a wonderful breakfast. 

After, we knew we only had another 45 km to get to Moose Jaw. There we knew we were getting a hotel and restaurant and grocery store. After a nice shower, we headed to the bike shop in town where we got some extra tubes and a new patch kit. We ended the day with a nice meal in a restaurant.

Farha was not very visible on the road with her blue sweater. We found her a yellow vest.  At a stop on the side of the road, Charles commented that she is now part of the yellow bananas club. But Charles did not realized he was wearing his orange coat, so Marthe said that he must be the orange of the group. 

At breakfast, Farha ordered a milk shake...that gave her wings.....we all want a milk shake tomorrow!!
